Hellfire and Honey (Eternal Alliances #1) by A.N. Payton
I received a copy of Hellfire and Honey by A.N.Payton from NetGalley. The book is a fantasy novel that focuses on Princess Sal, a witch, and Kadence, King of the vampires. Sal is forced to surrender to Kadence and find a way to end the bitter war with the vampires after her parents disappear with half of the witch army. This is a new author for me. The blurb was extremely intriguing and promising. I can’t wait to read it.
The Gioconda Smile by Aldus Huxley
The Gioconda Smile by Aldus Huxley is a short story. I haven’t read anything written by the author before, but when I came across this short story randomly and found it interesting. It follows a wealthy English man Henry Hutton, who lives with his ill wife Emily in a country house. It seems like a sort of mystery with morally grey characters.
Carolina Moon by Nora Roberts
It’s been a long time since I have read Nora Roberts’ books. So, I picked Carolina Moon. This is a paranormal romance novel that follows the story of Tory Bodeen. After losing her best friend Hope to a gruesome murder when they were young, she leaves town. When she comes back to South Carolina years later, she reconnects with Cade Lavelle, Hope’s older brother, and all the past events aren’t far behind.
