My reading list for the month.
- An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.
I loved The Fault In Our Stars and Looking for Alaska, even Paper Towns. I read the former two novels almost back to back. Since then, I took a little break from reading the author’s other works. Now that Paper Towns is done, I have finally started reading An Abundance of Katherines. This book follows the story of Colin, a child prodigy living in Chicago. Colin and his friend Hassan decide to go on a road trip after their high school graduation. It’s a coming-of-age type of story. I like it so far.
2. The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare.
I was supposed to finish reading The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare play last month. The main issue with needing more time while reading Shakespeare is the language. I can’t read more than five or six pages in one sitting. I enjoy reading it; just not for longer periods, it is exhausting. I am halfway through the play, so hopefully, I will finish it this month.
3. The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood.
I know about the myth or legend surrounding the Wendigo vaguely. I saw an episode centered on this creature in a TV series. When I came across this book The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood, I was reminded of that episode so, it intrigued me. I generally enjoy supernatural books and movies; I am excited to read this horror story. It is a novella so, it will be a quicker read.

I have wanted to try Shakespeare again as some of my fav Romantic era authors and contemporary may mention his skills. I plan to try his poems. 🙂
