July TBR.

The books I added to my TBR this month.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is the first book in the Empyrean Series. The blurb of this book is extremely intriguing. I haven’t read any fantasy books related to dragons and dragon riders which is one of the reasons I am adding this book. The story of this fantasy book focuses on a twenty-year-old, Violet. She joins hundreds of candidates to become the elite of Navarre: Dragon Riders, on her mother’s insistence.

Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is a book I have seen a lot but never really picked it up. When the Amazon Prime Series came out, I remembered seeing this book in shops and finally picked it up. The story is set in the ’70s and follows the rise of a rock band and its mysterious lead singer. It follows their career and their infamous split. I want to read the book before I watch the series. It is an exciting and different book for me to pick up.

The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori.

The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori is a mafia romance book. This book has been on my radar because I always remembered its name. I finally got an ebook of it, so it’s officially on my reading list. I have a soft spot for reading romances, and I read romances from different categories. This book follows a mafia princess Elena. Her sister’s marriage is arranged to Nicolas Russo, but Elena finds him far more interesting than she should, given he is her future brother-in-law. I think this might be darker in its themes, but I can’t wait to read it.
