My reading list for the month of July.
The Throne of Broken Gods by Amber Nicole.
I was surprised by how much I loved reading The Book of Azrael. Throne of Broken Gods is the second book of the Gods and Monsters series by Amber Nicole. The story continues following the characters of Samkiel aka the World Ender, and Dianna. The first books end on a cliffhanger, with Dianna’s world changing forever in the worst possible way, and this is where the second book starts. I am so excited to start reading it.
Facino Cane by Honore de Balzac.
Facino Cane is a short story written by Honore de Balzac and was published in 1836. I haven’t heard of the story or the writer before, but this story is part of my book of French Short Stories collection. The story is about an old man named Marco-Facino Cane, who claims to be a descendant of a 14th-century condottiere of the same name. I believe it takes us through the life of this man and recalling events of his past.
Be With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Be With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout is the third book of the Wait For You series. I read Wait For You, the first book a few months back, and now, I am moving on to this one. Teresa Hamilton got out of a terrible relationship and has been finding herself again. Jase Winstead is Teresa’s older brother’s best friend. One year ago, Teresa and Jase kissed which was world-shifting for her, but they haven’t spoken to each other since that night. Now, Teresa and Jase are in the same college making it harder for them to stay away from each other.
