My reading list for the month.
Impeccable by Darcy Burke.
Impeccable by Darcy Burke is the 7th addition to the Phoenix Club Series. I have read all the other books from the series and can’t wait to start this one. Evangeline Renshaw has left her past behind and now, has reinvented herself as a patroness at the Phoenix Club. Lord Gregory Blakemore has gone through a life change with the death of his father, and the marriage of his older brother. Now, he wants to focus on his future. Evie and Lord Gregory cross paths, and sparks fly. These are slightly familiar characters because they have been introduced in previous books, but I am excited to read their story.
To the Moon and Back by Jill Mansell.
I haven’t read any of Jill Mansel’s work before, To the Moon and Back will be my introduction to her novels. The story follows Ellie Kendall, who loses her husband tragically and then has to slowly learn to deal with it. She moves to Primrose Hill where she meets Roo, and the two girls hit it off. Zach McLaren seems to have everything except the girl he likes doesn’t pay attention to him. I think this story is going to be emotional from the looks of it. I am intrigued to read it.
The Heavenly Christmas Tree by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
This is the second short story of Fyodor Dostoevsky that I plan to read after An Honest Thief. The Heavenly Christmas Tree is set during Christmas time, obviously, and focuses on a poor young boy during holiday time. I read this story a little bit the other day, and it is narrated in a very different style. I can’t wait to read it.
