The books I added to my TBR this month.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass
I have been seeing this book all over the Bookstagram for a really long time. At first, I wanted to wait to read this book because of all the hype, but it does seem interesting. It follows a nineteen-year-old Freya, who after killing a wolf is dragged off by a terrifying creature as retribution to a new magical land. It’s a series, and I hope to read all of the books because it seems so promising, but I don’t want to get ahead of myself. I enjoy reading fantasy romances, so this should be right up my wheelhouse.
Impeccable by Darcy Burke
I loved reading the Phoenix Club Series by Darcy Burke. Impeccable is the seventh book of the series, and it follows the characters of Evangeline Renshaw and Lord Gregory Blakemore. The characters are previously introduced, so I have a slight idea about them which adds to my interest level. I am hoping for a cute and passionate historical romance.
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas
I knew this classic just by the title, and I never read its blurb. Recently, this book popped up as recommended read on amazon. It has an interesting premise, and I am curious about the setting and story in general. Plus, it’s an author I have never read before, and that’s always good to manage expectations. The story is an adventure and revenge-filled tale, and I can’t wait to read it.
