Currently Reading (March ’26). #DrakkonSerpentPrince #NetGalley

My reading list for the month of March.

Drakkon: Serpent Prince by Maham Fatemi.

I received a copy of Drakkon: Serpent Prince by Maham Fatemi from NetGalley. This book is a dark fantasy romance and the second installment of the Drakkon series, but I will read it as a standalone. The story follows Princess Biyu, who is living almost as a captive under the usurper king. She wants to be free and help her brother win the throne by spying on the court. Nicotar, a ruthless warrior and an ally of the king, stands between her goals. She is thrust into politics and a magical marriage with Nicotar, leaving her life upended.

Lady Susan by Jane Austen.

Lady Susan by Jane Austen is an epistolary novella, which was published posthumously. The story of the novella is told through letters between different characters. It follows Lady Susan Vernon. She is a brilliant, beautiful, and manipulative widow in her mid-thirties. She schemes for a wealthy second husband while trying to force her 16-year-old daughter into a marriage because he is rich.

Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

Safe Haven is a romantic thriller by Nicholas Sparks. This book follows the story of Katie, an abused woman who has finally run away from her abuser. She ends up in Southport, North Carolina, and meets Alex Wheatley, a widower and father of two children. Katie is running from her dark past, but she is scared that it will catch up to her. I always enjoy Sparks’ books, and this one has been on my reading list since I saw the movie years ago.
