Currently Reading (August ’25). #KingdomofStolenCrowns #NetGalley

My reading list for the month of August.

Kingdom of Stolen Crowns by Stephanie Storm.

I received a copy of Kingdom of Stolen Crowns by Stephanie Storm from NetGalley. This fantasy and romance (romantasy) book is the first of the Sacred Arbor Realm series. The story follows Victor Custodis, a convicted vampire lord and the leader of a gang of bandits, Runa Starborn. Victor betrays her to save himself, and they both end up in prison and are sentenced to compete in the Fallen Trials. They reluctantly have to work together to survive. An enemies to lovers romance in a fantasy world with trials immediately intrigued me. I am excited to read this book.

Things We Hide from the Light by Lucy Score.

Things We Hide from the Light by Lucy Score is the second book of the Knockemout series. This novel is a contemporary small-town romance. This book follows the story of Nash Morgan, the chief of police, and Lina. Nash is recovering from his bullet wounds and has panic attacks and nightmares. Lina moves next door, but she is secretive about her motives for staying in town. Nash and Lina have chemistry from the start. I loved the first book, Things We Never Got Over, and I am very excited to read this story.

The Devious Husband by Catharina Maura.

The Devious Husband by Catharine Maura is the sixth and final book of her Windsors series. This enemies to lovers marriage of convenience follows the story of Xavier Kingston and Sierra Windsor. Xavier and Sierra have been business rivals, always pranking and disrupting each other’s plans. When Sierra seems to show interest in a man who is not him, Xavier offers Windsors an incredible deal. But only if Sierra marries him. Both these characters were introduced in the previous books, and I have been waiting to read their story. I am interested in finding out about these characters and how their romance will unfold.
