My reading list for the month of January.
Of Silver and Sin by Kaytalin Platt.
I received a copy of the book Of Silver and Sin by Kaytalin Platt from NetGalley. This book is a fantasy romance novel. It follows an orphaned monster hunter Tenele Raider. She is tasked with a mystery and has to partner up with Shade, a conniving beast. This reluctant team-up is more than either of them bargained for. The blurb of this romantasy book is extremely intriguing. I have been reading a lot of fantasy romance lately and this is right up the alley. I can’t wait to start reading it.
An Unfinished Story by O’Henry
An Unfinished Story by O. Henry is a short story. The story focuses on the life of a shop girl, Dulcie, and how they must live on their small salaries. This story seems to have an unnamed narrator. I have read many stories written by O. Henry and I loved reading After Twenty Years, The Last Leaf, and The Gift of the Magi. I love reading O’Henry’s short stories, so I can’t wait to read it.
Lead Me Not by A. Meredith Walters
Lead Me Not by A. Meredith Walters is the first book of her twisted love series. This romance book follows the story of Aubrey Duncan, ridden with guilt about her sister, who decides to help other people, and Maxx Demelo, who is hiding secrets and drowning in them. I have read this author’s work before with Perfect Regret and I really enjoyed it. This story intrigued me because it is romance, but it seems to be about addiction issues as well. I am interested in reading it.
