My reading list for the month of November.
Reign of Cinders and Glass by Linsey Hall, Veronica Douglas.
I received a copy of Reign of Cinders and Glass by Linsey Hall and Veronica Douglas from NetGalley. This book is a fantasy romance (romantasy) which is a retelling of Cinderella. This is a world that is ruled by immortals i.e., vampires, where humans are second-class citizens. Ella’s sister goes missing, and to find her, she has to work at the castle. Ella meets the Dark Prince, Cassius. Ella discovers magic in the castle and a whole lot of secrets. I am excited to read a retelling of Cinderella in a fantasy romance book.
Twisted Lies by Ana Huang.
I have enjoyed reading the Twisted series by Ana Huang so far, and Twisted Lies is the last book of this romance series. This book follows the romance of Stella and Christian. Twisted Lies is a slow-burn and fake dating romance trope. The setup of these characters was done pretty well in Twisted Hate. I can’t wait to read the final book.
Daring and Duke by Sarah MacLean.
Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean is the final book of her Bareknuckle Bastards series. This historical romance follows the story of Grace and Ewan. After reading the first two books out of order of this series, the third book kind of fell behind on my reading list. There has been a build-up to the story of Ewan and Grace’s romance for two books. Ewan and Grace have a lot of history together, and this is like a second-chance romance. I can’t wait to finally start reading it.
