My reading list for the month of February.
Queen of Roses by Briar Boleyn.
I received a copy of Queen of Roses by Briar Boleyn from NetGalley. This is the first book of the Blood of a Fae series. I have read many fantasy books but never any with Fae in the story for some reason. When I came across this book, it immediately intrigued me. The story follows Morgan Pendragon, her birthright is taken away from her. The story is an action-packed and adventurous fantasy tale. I am pretty excited to read it.
A Haunted House by Virginia Woolf.
A Haunted House by Virginia Woolf is a short story. I enjoy the way Woolf narrates her stories and the depth it has to it. It is very fascinating to read her work. The story is a ghost story. It’s about a couple haunting a house and reliving their happy moments. I can’t wait to read it.
Brazen and the Beast by Sarah MacLean.
Brazen and the Beast by Sarah MacLean is the second book of the Bareknuckle Bastards series. I have read Sarah MacLean’s stories before just never reviewed them. This historical romance focuses on Lady Henrietta Sedley and Whit. They come from different worlds, but Henrietta feels like an outsider in her environment. It’s been a while since I read historical romance so looking forward to it.
