My reading list for the month of December.
Shadows and Sage (Eternal Alliances #2) by A. N. Payton.
Shadows and Sage by A. N. Payton is the second book of the Eternal Alliances series. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. I read Hellfire and Honey, the first book in the series, and I loved reading it. So, when I saw the second book, I was excited to get my hands on it. Natalie is a witch who was born and brought up during the war. When vampires raid the village, she sacrifices herself to save her family. Natalie is taken prisoner, and vampire Marshall Rayhan wants her to help him find out about his father’s death using magic. These characters were introduced in the first book, and this feels more like a prequel. I can’t wait to read it.
A Wasted Hour by Jeffery Archer.
A Wasted Hour by Jeffery Archer is a short story from his Tell Tale collection. I always enjoy reading Archer’s stories, so there is no other reason to pick this story. The story follows a young student hitchhiking home from college and meeting an old man. This old man has a very interesting story to tell. It sounds simpler than it will actually be as I read it.
